PESC History

The Purdue Engineering Student Council was founded in 1975 and reorganized under its present constitution in 1980. With it's mission statement of "serving students, serving faculty, serving industry," PESC built upon its early foundations to become one of the most active and productive organizations on campus. Its membership includes the most motivated and enthusiastic leaders on campus.
The purpose of Purdue Engineering Student Council, as stated in Article II of the Constitution is :- To promote communication and cooperation among the students of the Schools of Engineering
- To serve Purdue Engineering Students at the campus, regional, and national levels.
- To promote professional growth among engineers.
