The Industrial Relations committee facilitates communication and interaction between Purdue Engineering students and their prospective employers. The members of IR committee are responsible for the planning, organizing and implementation of the Industrial Roundtable, a job fair held in September. The Industrial Roundtable is held on the Purdue Memorial Mall and allows students to talk with company representatives. The Industrial Roundtable is one of the nation's largest student-run job fairs, with over 270 companies, 11,000 company representatives, and 10,000 students in attendance each year. The members of the IR committee have individual responsibilities, which contribute to the successful execution of the Industrial Roundtable. The committee is lead by the Industrial Roundtable Director. The committee members fill the positions of Facilities, Hospitality, Registration, Programming, and Scholarship Coordinators.
